Imelda, Tropical Storm and Hurricane Humberto

Hurricane Humberto continues to churn in the western Atlantic as a major Category 4 storm, while Tropical Depression Nine has strengthened into Tropical Storm Imelda, threatening the Bahamas and potentially parts of the Southeastern U.S.
The Met Office has warned that the aftermath of an Atlantic hurricane could bring heavy rain and wind to the UK this weekend and, potentially, autumn's first named storm. It's issued a yellow rain warning for parts of western Scotland from 5pm on Wednesday 1 October until 6am on Friday October.
Hurricane Humberto's swells will probably cause "life-threatening surf and rip current conditions," the National Hurricane Center warned.
Tropical Storm Imelda is strengthening off the Southeast coast this week and can potentially reach hurricane status.
