In all, DeSantis made more than 450 line-item vetoes statewide totaling about $567 million in $117.4 billion 2025-26 budget.

Also making the budget was $1.25 million for the Florida Law Enforcement Educational Initiative at the American Police Hall of Fame and Museum in Titusville.

Vetoed items include funding for Brevard Public Schools expansions, Aging Matters in Brevard's meal program, and the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse expansion.

However, DeSantis vetoed $850,000 in allocations for Cocoa Village Playhouse to help fund a proposed Children's Center for Education and Collaboration.
