Aryna Sabalenka has addressed the recent controversy surrounding Iga Swiatek‘s doping violation, claiming people are often “used to overreacting” in such situations.

Aryna Sabalenka, the world No. 1, has given a measured response to Iga Swiatek's one-month doping ban. Swiatek, the world No. 2 and five-time Grand Slam champion, tested positive for a banned substance but was found to have "no significant fault or negligence" after proving contamination via melatonin medication.

In late November, the tennis world was shocked by the news of WTA World No.2 Iga Swiatek's doping ban. Even more surprising was that tennis and anti-doping organizations concealed the story for months.
