French prosecutors are piecing together clues over the death of South Africa’s ambassador to France, Nkosinathi Emmanuel “Nathi” Mthethwa.

South Africa’s ambassador to France has been found dead after falling from the 22nd floor of his hotel room.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa called his death "untimely" and "a moment of deep grief in which government and citizens stand beside the Mthethwa family".
