After 34 years, Austin Police have identified Robert Eugene Brashers as the likely sole perpetrator of the Yogurt Shop Murders, after DNA evidence linked him to multiple unsolved murders and sexual assaults across the country.

Austin police partnered with genealogical experts who traced an unknown DNA sample found at the crime scene to Robert Eugene Brashers.
