The Missouri winner who won half of the nearly $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot has come forward to claim his massive prize, according to Missouri Lottery.
The Missouri Lottery said the man chose the one-time payout option, which will come to about $410 million after taxes.
An Illinois man recycled the numbers from an old, long-forgotten Powerball ticket and ended up winning a $1 million prize as a result of the decision.
A winning Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was sold at a Terrytown grocery store and has yet to be claimed. The ticket was sold at Mike Express at 2138 Stumpf Blvd. The drawing was held July 23. The winning numbers are 2, 18, 19, 25, 35 with the Powerball number being 25.
Nearly 330,000 Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million, the lottery said.
