Penn State was forced to swallow the same unsavory pill it has for years, thanks to another big-game loss to Oregon in the White Out. The Ducks toppled the Nittany Lions in overtime, 30-24, behind a steady offense and stifling defense. Penn State’s offense was anemic and placed a well-performing defense in too many tough situations.

On the flip side, Ohio State and Penn State are 2-1 crossing the country and 1-2 ATS. The other 12 are 2-10 (.167) straight up and 5-7 (.417) ATS. Last week, Oregon and Ohio State were 2-0 while UCLA and USC were 0-2, keeping in line with how things are going.
