Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin is confident his team can rebuild quickly after a successful run the last few seasons.

The Ole Miss Rebels had a relatively successful year, going 10-3 overall and 5-3 in SEC play, but ultimately were left out of the College Football Playoff bracket. They did end the season on a high note after defeating the Duke Blue Devils in the Gator Bowl.

After missing out on the College Football Playoff, Ole Miss is heavily favored against Duke in the Gator Bowl.

The No. 14 Ole Miss Rebels dominated the Duke Blue Devils in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on Thursday night to the tune of a 52-20 final score, and it's clear that coach Lane Kiffin's team was motivated to play well in the bowl game.

After Amos' announcement, Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin took to social media to react to the news. "Love you!!!" Kiffin said. Amos played one season with the Rebels. He started his career with Louisiana-Monroe and transferred to Alabama after three years with the Rajin Cajuns.

Lane Kiffin never takes a day off from trolling. He proved that to be the case during the Gator Bowl on Thursday night between Duke and Ole Miss. Prior to the start of the fourth quarter, ESPN's Taylor McGregor interviewed Kiffin on the sideline.
