The Penn State Nittany Lions lost the first two sets but rallied to beat the Nebraska Cornhuskers and reach their first NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament title match since 2014.

Penn State won its eighth national volleyball championship and first in a decade with a four-set victory against host Louisville on Sunday.

Jess Mruzik made 29 kills with a .315 hitting percentage, and Schumacher-Cawley became the first female coach to win an NCAA volleyball championship as Penn State defeated Louisville, 3-1, in Sunday’s final.
