Michael Vick and Norfolk State land another former FBS quarterback as the quarterback competition heats up for the Spartans.

Norfolk State University offered new head football coach Michael Vick an annual base salary of $400,000, according to a report from the Virginian-Pilot. Well above the $240K agreed on by former head coach Dawson Odums who Vick replaced after going 15-30 in the previous four seasons.

Michael Vick has added another former FBS quarterback to his roster at HBCU Norfolk State University. Israel Carter, who spent his first two seasons at the University of South Florida, has committed to Norfolk State.
