Firefighters are battling a fire at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center. The fire started Thursday night at the hospital on Medical Center Boulevard in Chester, Pennsylvania. Footage from SkyForce10 showed a large number of firefighters as well as smoke coming from one of the buildings.

Chopper 6 was over Crozer-Chester Medical Center just before 10 p.m. as firefighters focused on a portion of a building where smoke was billowing from a doorway.

A large fire and EMS presence was seen at Crozer-Chester Medical Center as reports say an explosion and fire happened inside the hospital and evacuations were taking place.

Fire crews were called en masse to Crozier-Chester Medical Center in Upland shortly after 8:40 p.m. Thursday. Numerous units would respond under any circumstances to such a call. At the 10-minute mark, a chief on the scene reported there was a fire in the electrical room in the loading dock along Upland Avenue.
