DC fans have had one of the most eventful weeks of the year, first with the trailer release of the new Superman movie and now with the announcement of season 2 of The Penguin being in development. The Batman director Matt Reeves just announced on December 18,

There's no confirmation that a season two will come to fruition, but that comment from Reeves suggests there's a possibility that it's on the table. The Penguin was a hit, scoring 95% on Rotten Tomatoes from critic reviews and landing itself a 92% audience score, and season one is currently available to stream on Max.

Matt Reeves' The Batman universe looks to be expanding even further, with the director recently revealing that he's talking to The Penguin showrunner Lauren LeFranc about doing a second season.
