The Dallas Mavericks have lost quite a bit of fan support in their hometown since they traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Hundreds of fans have protested outside of games, while others have been thrown out of the arena for voicing their displeasure with the team's moves.

Los Angeles is no stranger to glitz, glamor and massive sporting events, and Tuesday night is no exception as the Dallas Mavericks face off against Luka Dončić and the Lakers for the first time since the Slovenian’s trade to LA.

Luka Dončić as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards as a Dallas Maverick? It was a thought pursued by Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison, according to The Athletic's Sam Amick.
