The incident was not being investigated as terrorism, Cmdr. Peter Stevens, of London's Met Police, said in a statement. Officers were called just after 8 a.m. local time to the parking garage at Terminal 3, where there were reports of "multiple people being assaulted," the department said.

A London City Hall committee has warned that Heathrow Airport's expansion plans would undermine progress made to the capital's air quality and expose residents to "harmful" levels of noise, in a letter to the government.
