As the Golden State Warriors have been connected to Jimmy Butler and trade rumors for the longest time, there seems to be some clarity in their possible pursuit. While former players such as Shaquille O'Neal want to see the Warriors trade for Butler, the latest reporting from ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel puts that notion to bed.

“Over the last few seasons, the Warriors' supporting cast has been unable to help Curry elevate the Warriors to anything better than the sixth seed, and many players have been floated in trade rumors in that span,” Hoops Habit’s Benjamin Paradis wrote Wednesday.

In Hoops Habit, Benjamin Paradis has proposed a trade that would see the Warriors receive Butler while the Heat would get Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga , Brandin Podziemski and the Warriors' 2027/2029 1st-Round Selection.
