Houston quarterback C.J. Stroud is still recovering from a concussion and will miss a third straight game when the Texans host the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.

The Texans' consecutive victories have seen an uptick in production from Nico Collins, which has gone a long way toward the end result.

Houston is now 5-5 entering its "Thursday Night Football" matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Head coach DeMeco Ryans revealed Stroud's status for the contest on Tuesday, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The Houston Texans will be without star quarterback C.J. Stroud when they take on the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, as the 24-year-old remains in the concussion protocol.

The Texans had success in containing Josh Allen last season. They'll need to do it again Thursday to keep their playoff hopes alive.
