Ashley Sharp sat down the the state fire marshal for a one-on-one interview regarding the investigation into the Esparto fireworks warehouse explosion.

Beyond that, local officials cited the ongoing criminal investigation led by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Investigators from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, as well as Cal-OSHA and others, are also investigating what unfolded in the late afternoon July 1.

A DNA testing process to identify the remains of the seven victims of the deadly fireworks warehouse explosion in the Esparto area is underway.
