A Delta Air Lines flight to Atlanta caught fire after takeoff from a Los Angeles airport. There were no reports of injuries to the passengers or crew.

The pilot of a Delta regional flight operated by SkyWest, flying from Minneapolis to Minot, North Dakota, said during an overhead announcement that he had to make an “aggressive maneuver” to avoid a mid-air collision with a military jet.
