CNN did (as usual) outdraw MSNBC among adults 25-54 for the month, averaging 80,000 such viewers for the full day and 118,000 in primetime to MSNBC’s 45,000 and 63,000. Fox News was again far ahead with 253,000 adults 25-54 for the full day and 353,000 in prime.

Fox News said the past week was its highest rated since in total day since the 2020 presidential election. Its debut of The Will Cain Show in the 4 p.m. ET slot, replacing Neil Cavuto, posted 3.5 million viewers, with an average of 3 million for the week.

Nexstar Media Group's upstart cable news channel NewsNation scored a major victory in January, with the network topping MSNBC among key demographic viewers across several programs.
