Tanner Bibee and the Guardians face elimination in Game 2 of the American League wild card series against the Tigers at Progressive Field.

The Guardians are facing elimination after the Detroit Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three AL Wild Card Series with a 2-1 win on Sept. 30.

However, the Browns coach clearly believed quarterback was a major part of the problem. After four games, Stefanski has pulled the plug on Joe Flacco as the Browns' starting quarterback. Rookie Dillon Gabriel will be the starter when Cleveland faces the Minnesota Vikings in London Oct.

With the offense struggling, it felt inevitable that a change was going to happen.

Flacco has thrown six interceptions this season, contributing to the team's offensive woes.

While Flacco was the anointed starter coming out of training camp, the lone veteran quarterback on the Browns roster just hasn't performed to a high enough standard to maintain the starting role.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski put the blame on the offense's struggles on the entire unit rather than just Joe Flacco.
