Today the Chicago area will have highs around 80 degrees under partly sunny skies. There is a chance for a shower early and p.m. storms.

After seeing showers and storms roll through the area overnight, Chicago residents can expect more of the same for the next several days.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A line of storms brought high winds and heavy rain to parts of the Chicago area on Tuesday night. Most of the storms started to move out of the area by 10 p.m., but the system stirred up funnel clouds in communities west of the city.
