Auburn football drops out of AP poll consideration following loss to Texas A&M
Last week, Auburn fell out of the rankings with a 24-17 loss to Oklahoma, but still picked up 122 votes. That put the Tigers just outside the top 25. This week, Auburn did not receive any votes after being defeated by Texas A&M 16-10.

Oregon moves to No. 2 behind Buckeyes in AP poll; Rebels, Sooners join top 5; Alabama back in top 10
Oregon has moved up to No. 2 in The Associated Press college football poll, while Mississippi has its highest ranking since 2015.
The AP Poll released the latest edition of their rankings for the Top-25 on Sunday. It has now again since been criticized, including by ESPN’s Heather Dinich on Monday. Dinich was asked for her biggest takeaway from this past weekend in college football while appearing on SportsCenter this afternoon alongside Paul Finebaum and Matt Barrie.
If Illinois lost on Saturday, they would’ve likely been unranked on Saturday. But a last-second win over USC sent the Illini to No. 22 in the AP poll. Bret Bielema’s group has been ranked every week this season, and hasn’t been unranked since Week 12 of last season. Pretty impressive for this group.
