Americans increasingly have been turning to TikTok – both in general and for news – even as the app faces an uncertain future in the United States.

The app’s availability in the U.S. has been thrown into jeopardy over data privacy and national security concerns.

In the TikTok app, go to the video you’d like to download, tap the “Share” button seen on the side and select “Save video.” If you do not see this option, it means the creator has turned on a setting that doesn’t permit it.
