After being limited in practice this week with a chest injury, Diggs will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Titans, per coach Mike Vrabel.
The 24-year-old pass catcher was targeted 14 times by quarterback Michael Penix Jr., with his three scores coming against Marcus Jones (twice) and Carlton Davis III in coverage. He also hauled in a 40-yard bomb—his longest catch of the day—over former second-team All-Pro Christian Gonzalez.
FOXBOROUGH – Stefon Diggs is coming up on the first anniversary of suffering a season-ending knee injury. The date, Oct. 27, 2024, also serves as a reminder of how impressive the veteran receiver’s performance has been this season with the Patriots.
Diggs said he’s on Christian Barmore more than anybody, trying to squeeze more out of him. While Diggs might not be a captain, he’s leadership has been on display all year. Asked if it’s a challenge to maintain the line, and not cross it, Diggs shook his head.
On Sunday, Diggs will play against the Bills – the team with which he earned four Pro Bowl nods and had the most productive seasons of his career – for the second time since leaving Buffalo. Last year in Houston, Diggs caught six passes for 82 yards against his former team.
