RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — 8News got the chance to participate in a Mad Science experiment on Tuesday morning, featuring dry ice and the chance to learn more about their mission.

For shipping ice cream it was 1500% more efficient than water ice. Between Manhattanand Philadelphia, 200 lb. of solid carbon dioxide replaced 3,000 lb. of water ice and 600 lb. of salt.
