Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango Bango the Buck has been energizing the Bucks' crowds for decades and has had a lasting impact on the NBA community. However, the mascot went through a down period in 2009.

Bucks are big and have horns, but they are terrified of humans. And rightfully so—we kill millions of them annually. (Isn’t it morbid that the Bucks’ mascot’s name is BANGo?)

Milwaukee Fire Chief Aaron Lipski and Bucks mascot Bango, among others, rappelled down the side of the Milwaukee Athletic Club on Friday. Mayor Cavalier Johnson is scheduled to do the same on Sunday.
