The Atlantic hurricane season ends on Nov. 30. But tropical storms can form any time, and the sea water has been staying warmer for longer.

Lots of factors in play but Tropical Storm Sara is expected to form this week and could become a major hurricane threatening the US next week.

We were talking about things like bumper corn crops in Brazil when he mentioned there is highly likely to be a November hurricane to hit Florida in the next few days, one of only four land-falling hurricanes in the last 174 years.
