Megadeth's Dave Mustaine will pay $1.4 million to settle their ex-manager's lawsuit. The manager sued after he says he was abruptly fired.

More than a year after Dave Mustaine ended his contract with manager Cory Brennan, the Megadeth frontman has agreed to pay Brennan more than $1.4 million as a settlement. Mustaine still has a pending countersuit against Brennan.

The singer and his former manager settled for $1.4 million over unpaid commissions, but there's still unresolved matters left to be addressed legally.
