CONYERS, Ga. — A Conyers Police Department lieutenant is on administrative leave and faces a charge of theft by deception.

GBI agents arrested Conyers Police Lt. Jesus Cadena on theft by deception charges, accusing him of using his position to secure a donation for personal use; he’s on leave pending an internal review.

Investigators say they found the donation the officer claimed was for his police department at his Gwinnett County home.
