In Week 13 of 2023, the Bengals wore the White Bengal combination in a Monday Night Football game at Jacksonville, with Jake Browning recording his first career victory as a starting quarterback in a 34-31 overtime triumph.

This is presumably an announcement that Denver will wear its alternate blue jersey and alternate white helmet against the Bengals on Sept. 29. When NFL teams use an alternate helmet, they are required to wear it in practice the week leading up to the game, so we'll find out for sure when the Broncos hit the practice field on Thursday.

For the second straight season, the Cincinnati Bengals are rocking orange jerseys for their "Open in Orange" campaign. Cincinnati wore all-orange in its home opener last year, however, this time they'll combine white pants with an orange jersey.

Cincinnati Bengals fans over the years have learned to expect the worst. Yet what happened Sunday at Minnesota was beyond their worst nightmares.
