Rock records aren’t exactly setting the charts on fire so far this century. Only one of the Top 20 albums on Billboard’s new list of the Top 200 Albums of the 21st Century is by a rock artist: Nickelback‘s 2005 release All the Right Reasons,

The fourth Top 50 rock album for the 21st Century is Evanescence 's 2003 album, Fallen . Featuring the singles "Bring Me to Life," "Going Under," "My Immortal" and "Everybody's Fool," the record went on to rack up a Diamond certification from the RIAA for over 10 million sold in the U.S. It placed at No. 33 for the 21st Century.

Nickelback was also the highest-charting rock artist on the magazine's list of the Top Artists of the Century, coming in at No. 26. Linkin Park hit No. 37, Coldplay No. 53, Creed No. 66, 3 Doors Down No. 76, Kid Rock No. 83, Daughtry No. 89 and Santana No. 98. Taylor Swift, Drake and Rihanna came in first, second and third.
