Three Boston College Men's Hockey Players Named Nominees for 2025 Hobey Baker Award
Three Boston College men’s hockey players were named 2025 Hobey Baker Award nominees. The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Foundation released the list of nominees on Wednesday morning which featured Eagles goalie Jacob Fowler and forwards Ryan Leonard and Gabe Perreault.
Notre Dame sophomore center nominated for top award in college hockey
A Notre Dame player never has won the Hobey Baker Award, which is given annually to the best player in college hockey. The closest it came was when goaltender David Brown was named a finalist in 2007. Perhaps it will happen this time around?
Ducks Prospect Nominated for Hobey Baker Award
On Wednesday, the Hobey Baker committee announced the initial 2025 Hobey Baker Award nominees. 97 NCAA players were nominated by Division-1 coaches and up to three players per team were eligible for votes.
