Poland’s President Andrzej Duda is asking the country’s government to ensure that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can attend observances marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz later this month without the risk of being arrested.

Poland's president has urged the government not to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he attend the Auschwitz liberation anniversary event later this month, his office said Thursday.

Leadership from Poland has previously stated that should Netanyahu enter the country, they would enforce the warrant.
