The wife of Anthony Leonard Platt, the man better known as Atlanta hip-hop icon DJ Unk, has revealed the cause of his death.

ATLANTA -- The cause of death for DJ Unk, the Atlanta rapper known for 2000s hit songs “Walk It Out” and “2 Step,” has been revealed days after his death on Jan. 24 at age 43.

Now new reports have confirmed the Atlanta, Ga., rapper’s cause of death. Billboard reports how Sherkita Long-Plattt — the wife of the 43-year-old artist who may be best known for his 2006 hit single “Walk It Out” — confirmed to TMZ he passed away in his sleep after suffering from cardiac arrest.
