Sudiksha Konanki, an Indian national, whose family is living in suburban Washington DC, was last seen in the early morning hours on a Punta Cana beach on Thursday morning.

Sudiksha Konanki, a 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student, disappeared while on vacation in the Dominican Republic at a Punta Cana resort on Thursday, March 6, according to Virginia’s Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office,

The race to find a missing pre-med student in the Dominican Republic entered its fourth day Monday after authorities said the 20-year-old from Virginia was last seen walking along a beach in Punta Cana.

Authorities are searching in the tourist town of Punta Cana for any signs of 20-year-old Pitt student Sudiksha Konanki, who disappeared while on spring break.

The family of 20-year-old college student Sudiksha Konanki, who went missing last week while in the Dominican Republic, said the "ambitious" future medical professional was just hoping to enjoy her spring break vacation.
