The Cowboys pass rusher told reporters Thursday that he’s interested in completing a new deal sooner rather than later.

The Dallas Cowboys added linebacker Micah Parsons to Friday’s injury report with an illness. Although, it doesn’t sound like the organization is too concerned about the All-Pro’s status for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Micah Parsons handled this well. Stephen Jones did not. And a lesson, just maybe, can be learned about Cowboys contract talk in the media.
