GOP foreign policy luminary Rep. Michael McCaul announced that he won’t vie for reelection in 2026 and delivered a bone-chilling warning about the state of world affairs.

Representative Michael McCaul, an 11-term Texas Republican who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, announced on Sunday that he would retire from Congress.

After more than two decades in office, Rep. Michael McCaul announced he won’t be seeking re-election. The republican congressman currently serves Texas District 10, which stretches from Austin to College Station and south of I-10.

In his first UNGA address since re-election, President Trump reaffirmed his “America First” policy, stressing sovereignty, economic nationalism, and recalibrated U.S. global engagement.
