Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, the Panthers took a lead into the third period against the host Los Angeles Kings but fell victim to a thrilling comeback story that sent the fans home happy, as LA took down the Cats 2-1.

Samuel Helenius and Adrian Kempe scored in the third period, and the Kings rallied to beat the Florida Panthers 2-1 on Wednesday night. It was Kempe's 30th career game-winning goal as he passed Rob Blake for sole possession of eighth most in team history.
