The search for missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki, who vanished last week while on a spring break trip in the Dominican Republic.

CNN, citing a local police source, said authorities were interviewing a young man believed to have been with Konanki shortly before her disappearance. The police source told CNN surveillance cameras captured five women and one man leaving the beach at about 6 a.

University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki, 20, disappeared while on a spring break vacation in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, spurring a search by local and international authorities.

Sudiksha Konanki was last seen before dawn on March 6 at a beach near the resort where she was staying, according to Civil Defense officials, who said the search for her continued on Sunday.
