PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Fenway Sports Group is exploring selling off a minority stake of their ownership in the Pittsburgh Penguins, according to a report from ESPN. ESPN, citing sources, says that Fenway Sports Group is taking the organization to market this week to "explore selling a minority stake."

Apparently, NHL trades are allowed on Friday nights and Friday nights only. Jokes aside, the Vancouver Canucks had a busy Friday, first trading J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, then acquiring defenseman Marcus Pettersson from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The full details of the trade are as follows. The Canucks get Marcus Pettersson — the third Pettersson in the organization — and forward Drew O'Connor. In return, the Penguins receive forward Danton Heinen, defenceman Vincent Desharnais, prospect Melvin Fernström, and the first-round pick that they acquired from the Rangers in the Miller trade.
