Paul George suffered a pinky injury during the 76ers’ game against the Bulls and will not return, as per Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sports. Obviously it’s too early to speculate on the severity of George’s injury and any time that he may miss, if any at all, but it’s certainly another gut punch in what’s been a tough season.

George did not play the second half after suffering an injury to the pinky finger on his left hand. The game also held tiebreaker implications for the Sixers, who trail the Bulls in the standings.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George exited Saturday’s 109-97 victory over the Chicago Bulls in the second quarter after jamming his left pinkie, and did not return.

The 76ers say Paul George suffered tendon damage to the pinkie finger on his non-shooting left hand and will be reevaluated Wednesday.

Joel Embiid (left knee injury management) and Paul George ( left finger extensor tendon injury) are among six Sixers listed as out for the team's Friday night matchup against the Denver Nuggets, according to the team's initial injury report released on Thursday afternoon.
