Vivek Ramaswamy has said that Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday will bring the "dawn of a new Golden Age."
Ramaswamy will reportedly run for Ohio governor in 2026 after leaving the Department of Government Efficiency.
Trump had selected Ramaswamy to lead the panel along with Musk. A report in Politico, quoting three people familiar with the matter, said many Republicans were unhappy with Ramaswamy due to his recent tweet on the H-1B visa issue.

In a lengthy post on X in December, Ramaswamy waded into the political discussion on American versus foreign-born workers and railed against a culture that he said had misplaced priorities. “Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer)” he wrote.
