DENVER -- Artturi Lehkonen had two goals and two assists for the Colorado Avalanche in a 6-3 win against the Dallas Stars at Ball Arena on Saturday. Cale Makar scored twice, including his 100th NHL goal in his 362nd game, becoming the sixth-fastest defenseman in League history to reach the milestone.
It was a historic performance for the Colorado Avalanche as they moved into a tie for third place in the Central Division with Dallas.
The Dallas Stars travelled to Denver, Colorado, on Saturday afternoon to take on the Colorado Avalanche. This is their second meeting this season, with the Avalanche taking the first game 5-3 in November.

Matt Duchene leads the Stars in points (41) while ranking second in goals (17) and assists (24). Robertson leads Dallas in assists (25), ranks second in points (37) and is tied for third in goals (12). Wyatt Johnston is third on the team in points (32) and assists (22).
The second period hasn’t been great for the Avalanche as of late. Especially on this homestand, where both the Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers dominated play in the middle frame.
The Avalanche beat the Dallas Stars 6-3 at Ball Arena on Saturday. Artturi Lehkonen posted four points and Casey Mittelstadt posted three points, while Jonathan Drouin and Cale Makar each scored the 100th goals of their respective careers. With the win, the Avs improved to 28-18-1.
