Doing so on the same night the organization honored Brent Sutter — inducting him into the team’s Hall of Fame and onto the Ring of Honor at UBS Arena — with one of the season’s better crowds in attendance, gave a little bit extra to an otherwise forgettable 4-1 win over the Sharks on Saturday.

Bo Horvat scored twice in New York's three-goal second period, and the Islanders beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-1 on Monday night. Simon Holmstrom also scored and Mathew Barzal had two assists as the Islanders won their second straight and fifth in seven games.
Goals from Barzal, Nelson, Dobson, and Pulock carry the Islanders to victory on Brent Sutter’s Islanders Hall of Fame induction night.
Sean Couturier scored his 199th NHL goal and Travis Konecny added three assists as the Flyers overcame the first two Islander power play goals in the last fifteen games for a 5-3 win over the Isles before a crowd of 15,761 at UBS Arena.
