Drivers are ignoring sirens and warning lights at a North Yorkshire level crossing every two weeks, Network Rail says.

The level crossing at York Road, Haxby, will be closed from 11.45pm on Saturday, November 30 until 6am the following day and again.

Rail and road users are being advised to plan ahead due to work on an "ageing" level crossing in East Yorkshire.

The level crossing in York Road, Haxby, will be closed for rail maintenance work.
