Police in Santa Rosa on Thursday provided additional information regarding the homicide investigation into a fatal shooting that left four people dead who were found Wednesday during a welfare check by officers.

Karen Squaglia, president of the Valle Vista management association, said a mother, her two adult children and a fourth person lived in the house.

SANTA ROSA, Calif. - In a gruesome update on the bodies found at a Santa Rosa home Wednesday, authorities have confirmed the victims were all shot to death. The four victims were not named, but were said to be a 33-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man, a 67-year-old woman, and a 67-year-old man, according to Santa Rosa police.

Police say they found the bodies during a welfare check after a boyfriend of one of the occupants expressed concern.

Investigators in Santa Rosa are still piecing together a case involving the deaths of four people discovered fatally shot in a home Wednesday.

Officers were sent to the Santa Rosa home for a welfare check on residents who had not been seen for several days, police said. When officers investigated, they discovered four deceased people.

Four people were found dead inside a Santa Rosa home on Wednesday afternoon, the Santa Rosa Police Department tells KRON4. Around 3:07 p.m., officers entered a home located on the 200 block of Monarch Court through a window.
