Phoenix police say a man is in jail after a shooting Saturday morning that left another man dead near 19th Avenue and Northern Avenue.
Police arrested 42-year-old Craig Poorthunder in connection with the fatal shooting of a man early on Nov. 15 at a north Phoenix apartment complex, officials said. At around 2 a.m., officers responded to calls of a shooting near 19th and Northern avenues, according to Sgt. Rob Scherer, a spokesperson for the Phoenix Police Department.

PHOENIX - Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in the early hours of Saturday morning in north Phoenix. Just before 2 a.m. on Nov. 15, Phoenix Police responded to the area of North 19th Drive regarding a shooting. An unidentified man was found with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Phoenix police have arrested three teenagers in connection with a fatal shooting that killed a 16-year-old and are charging them as adults.
