The Michigan State Spartans rolled past the Kentucky Wildcats 83-66 in the Champions Classic. Here are the highlights:

Michigan State men's basketball stayed put in the AP Poll this week. On Monday afternoon, the latest rankings were released, and MSU maintained its spot at No. 17.

NEW YORK. (WILX) - No. 17 Michigan State men’s basketball leads No. 12 Kentucky 44-27 at halftime in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Spartans’ outside shooting woes to begin the season disappeared in the first half, as MSU shot 7-13 on three-pointers after not making more than six in its first four games.

There will be 34 college basketball games Thanksgiving week in Fort Myers, including Michigan State vs. North Carolina, which will be on FOX.

The Spartans’ penultimate game is against Iowa (6-4, 4-3), which will be MSU’s final road game this year and the Hawkeyes’ senior day. Kickoff is set for 3:40 p.m. ET on FS1. Michigan State’s season finale is against Maryland, who enters the weekend 4-6 overall and 1-6 during B1G play, at Ford Field in Detroit on Nov. 29.
