"It is going to bring some windswept, cold, heavy rain Thursday into Friday morning, which will slow travel ahead of the holiday weekend," Cindy Fitzgibbon said.

Meteorologist Frank Nocera, also of the Norton branch of the National Weather Service, told USA Today Network on Tuesday of this week that, "It's looking like a mainly dry weekend," adding that the area could experience more "unseasonably cool" temperatures for the rest of this week.
This disruptive type of coastal storm is more typically seen during winter and rarely happens in May. It will bring heavy rain and wind to millions through Friday.
