"Authorities have no reason to believe that the Islamic Center was targeted, and there is no investigation," the statement reads. Hussein says he and the community have reasons not to trust this version of events, saying this incident marks the 40th attack on a mosque in Minnesota in the past three years.

A Mankato mosque says they suffered an attempted arson. Police, however, said they are not investigating the incident.
